Enjoined Together

Prototype created for GMTK 2021 with a theme "Joined Together".

Genre: Infinite chiller

Chill on the river with a friend or yourself. Restrain from moving, hitting obstacle or doing pretty much anything and reach ultimate chilling state.

One player controls two otters, being taken away by a river flow. 

CONTROLS:

Otter No.1:

A, D - Swim with left and right leg respectively

Space - spread arms

Otter No.2:

left arrow key, right arrow key - Swim with left and right leg respectively

Right Control - spread arms

When arms are spread and they touch, otters are then connected.

When they hit stone or river shore they are likely to disconnect.

Fill chill meter to be chill.

Chill meter fills automatically and fills much faster when otters are holding hands.

Stops filling when swimming and gets reduced when obstacle is hit.

Also otter that is parallel to river flow is being carried by the flow faster than if it lies perpendicular.
